GARAGE
FLAKE
FLOOR COATINGS
Louisville's most popular garage floor system. Durable, slip-resistant, and sharp-looking for decades.
THE FLOOR YOUR
GARAGE
DESERVES
Full-flake broadcast epoxy systems are the most requested residential floor coating we install, and for good reason. Multi-color vinyl flakes are broadcast into a base coat and sealed beneath a clear polyaspartic topcoat, creating a seamless, seamlessly good-looking floor that hides dirt, resists oil and chemicals, and holds up to vehicle traffic year-round.
Available in dozens of flake color blends, from subtle neutrals to bold, high-contrast combinations. A properly installed flake floor will outperform and outlook anything you can buy at a hardware store by a decade or more.

WHY FLAKE IS THE
SMART CHOICE
The multi-color flake pattern naturally conceals dust, dirt, and light debris between cleanings. Your garage always looks cleaner than it is.
The texture created by the flake broadcast adds natural slip resistance — especially important in a garage where water, oil, and wet shoes are a daily reality.
Oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze, and de-icing salt wipe right off a properly sealed flake floor. No staining, no absorption, no damage.
Professionally installed flake systems with proper prep handle full vehicle traffic, hot tire pickup, and heavy equipment without peeling or cracking.
From classic gray blends to earth tones, blues, and custom color combinations. We'll help you choose the perfect flake blend for your space.
A quick sweep and occasional mop with a pH-neutral cleaner is all it takes. No waxing, no sealing, no recoating for years.
OUR PROCESS
The difference between a flake floor that lasts 20 years and one that peels in 2 is almost entirely in the preparation. We do it right — every time.
Most single-car and two-car garage floors are completed within 1-2 days. We'll give you a specific timeline at your free consultation.
We visit your garage, inspect the slab, review moisture and crack conditions, and walk you through your options — including flake color selection.
We grind the entire slab with diamond tooling to open the pores and create mechanical adhesion. This is the step most DIY kits skip — and why they fail.
All cracks, spalls, and surface defects are repaired with professional-grade filler materials before any coating is applied.
A high-solid epoxy base coat is applied across the full slab and vinyl flakes are broadcast to full rejection — meaning flakes are applied until the epoxy won't accept any more.
After the base coat cures, excess flake is scraped and a commercial-grade polyaspartic topcoat is applied. UV stable, clear, and built to handle real-world use.
We inspect every square foot with you before leaving. Your satisfaction is the only sign-off that matters.
FREQUENTLY
ASKED
A professionally installed full-flake system with proper surface prep and a polyaspartic topcoat will typically last 15-20 years or more under normal residential use. The longevity is almost entirely determined by the quality of the prep and materials — which is why we don't cut corners on either.
Not when it's properly installed. Peeling and chipping are almost always the result of inadequate surface preparation or inferior materials. We diamond grind every floor and use industrial-grade systems — not the big-box kit products that fail within a few years.
We bring samples to your free consultation. Most clients choose from our standard blends — grays, browns, blues, and multi-color combinations — but we can also work with custom blends. We'll help you pick something that complements your home and holds up visually over time.
Yes. Cracks are addressed during our surface preparation process — we don't coat over them and hope for the best. Structural cracks are filled and stabilized before any coating is applied.
Pricing depends on the size of your garage, the condition of the slab, and the system specified. Most standard two-car garages fall within a range that most homeowners find very reasonable relative to the lifespan and look of the finished floor. Call 502-313-0080 for a free quote.
Light foot traffic is typically safe within 24 hours. We recommend waiting 72 hours before parking vehicles on the new coating to allow full cure.
