About This Service

THE FLOOR THAT'S ALREADY THERE -- JUST WAITING TO SHINE

Polished concrete is one of the smartest flooring decisions you can make. It takes the slab that's already under your feet and transforms it into a glossy, seamless surface that requires virtually no maintenance, lowers your heating and cooling costs, and looks genuinely stunning.

We use a multi-step diamond grinding and polishing process to progressively refine your concrete to the sheen level you want -- from a satin matte to a high-gloss mirror finish. No coatings to peel. No wax to reapply. Just the concrete itself, refined.

What We Offer

SYSTEMS &
OPTIONS

Cream Polish

A soft, matte finish that exposes just the top surface of the concrete. Subtle, sophisticated, and ideal for modern interiors.

Salt & Pepper

A light grind that exposes fine aggregate for a speckled, natural look. The most popular finish for residential and boutique retail.

Full Aggregate Exposure

A deeper grind that reveals the stone aggregate within your concrete. Bold, dramatic, and uniquely beautiful.

Dyed Polished Concrete

Integral dyes applied during the polishing process add a wash of color while maintaining the natural look of the concrete.

Burnished / Honed Finish

A lower sheen option for industrial and commercial spaces that want the benefits of polished concrete with a less reflective surface.

How We Work

OUR
PROCESS

Every project follows the same disciplined approach. We don't cut corners on prep, we don't rush the cure, and we don't leave until you're satisfied with the result.

01
Slab Assessment

We evaluate the hardness, aggregate, moisture, and existing condition of your concrete to determine the best grinding sequence.

02
Coarse Diamond Grinding

Starting with coarse diamond tooling, we flatten the surface and begin exposing the concrete below the top layer.

03
Progressive Honing

We step through progressively finer diamond grits, refining the surface with each pass.

04
Densifier Application

A lithium silicate densifier is applied to chemically harden the concrete and improve polish retention.

05
Fine Polishing

Final polishing steps bring the floor to your chosen sheen level -- satin, semi-gloss, or high-gloss.

06
Guard / Sealer

A penetrating guard is applied to protect against staining and simplify ongoing maintenance.

Common Questions

FREQUENTLY
ASKED

Is polished concrete slippery?

Properly polished concrete with a quality guard applied has a slip rating comparable to most finished flooring. For wet areas, we can add slip-resistant treatments.

Can polished concrete be installed over existing flooring?

We need to work directly with the concrete slab. Existing flooring must be removed first, which we can handle as part of our floor demo and prep service.

How do I maintain polished concrete?

Sweep or dust-mop regularly and damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals. Reapply guard every 1-3 years depending on traffic. That's it.

How much does polished concrete cost vs. other flooring?

Polished concrete is often less expensive than tile, hardwood, or epoxy systems on a long-term basis because there's nothing to replace. Initial installation cost varies based on condition and desired finish.
